Security architecture
NordPass encrypts with XChaCha20, a newer and faster cipher than the AES-256 most competitors (including 1Password) use, on top of a zero-knowledge architecture — NordPass's own servers never see your unencrypted vault. 1Password's own architecture (its "Secret Key" model, combined with your master password) is also independently well-regarded and has a longer public audit history.
