Temppro Brand Deep Dive: What Happened to ThermoPro?
Shoppers who recognize the name ThermoPro from grill thermometers might not immediately place Temppro — but they're the same company under a new name. Temppro (temppro.com) continues making digital and wireless meat thermometers and related kitchen temperature electronics.
The core lineup: probes and grill thermometers
Temppro's main products are digital and wireless meat thermometers, including Bluetooth smart probes, instant-read models, leave-in probes, and dual-probe setups. The wireless models pair with an app and claim a range up to 650 feet, which is aimed squarely at people monitoring a smoker or grill from inside the house rather than standing over it.
Beyond the grill
The catalog extends into candy thermometers, infrared thermometers, indoor/outdoor hygrometers, weather stations, pool thermometers, and kitchen timers. This breadth means Temppro functions less like a single-product gadget brand and more like a general home temperature-monitoring line, with the meat thermometers as the flagship category.
Warranty and where else it's sold
Temppro backs its products with a 30-day money-back guarantee, a 3-year warranty, and lifetime customer service, plus free shipping direct from the brand. The same products are also available through Amazon, Walmart, and Lowe's, so price comparison across retailers is worth doing before buying direct.
Who this actually fits
- Home cooks and grillers who want app-based temperature alerts instead of checking a probe manually
- BBQ and smoking enthusiasts monitoring long cook times from a distance
- Households wanting a bundle of kitchen and home temperature tools — hygrometers, weather stations, candy thermometers — from one brand
- Shoppers who remember the ThermoPro name should note it's the same manufacturer now selling as Temppro, so specs and warranties carry over
Conclusion
Temppro continues the ThermoPro product line under a new name, centered on Bluetooth meat thermometers with long-range alerts and backed by a 3-year warranty. Compare current pricing against Amazon and Walmart listings before ordering direct.
